Barbara Reid is a qualified homeopath and a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths. She trained at the London School of Classical Homeopathy, and practices in the Peterborough, south Lincolnshire and north Cambridgeshire area.
Barbara previously worked in the university sector as a lecturer and researcher for many years, specialising in public services management and housing issues. Early in 2007 she left this work in order to give more time to her homeopathy practice. She also runs a small management consultancy called Growing Edges.
Barbara is committed to helping people find positive health through homeopathic treatment. Her practice is based on the founding principles in homeopathy of treating 'the whole person' and individualising treatment to fit with the client's particular symptom picture. Her aim is to offer an attentive and unhurried service, continuity of care and aftercare, thoroughly researched remedy prescriptions, and good support through additional therapeutic work and signposting to other health care professionals where appropriate.
When not practising homeopathy, Barbara enjoys folk music, going to obscure destinations on holiday, and she once overtook Jimmy Saville in the Great North Run half marathon.
